Keller Williams Classic Realty welcomes Karen D. Arlick, P.A. to it's team of professionals. Karen is almost a Central Florida native, having lived in the area for over 28 years! Karen comes to KW with 8 years real estate experiece, a degree in Business Administration, Management and Marketing.
When asked "Why Real Estate?" Karen smiles. "It's funny you ask that! One day when I was 15, my mom had a friend over who was a real estate agent in St. Petersburg. I remembering borrowing the real estate class book, reading through it, and at the moment I knew I was going to sell real estate." Although it took a number of years to reach her goal, she has made her vision a reality.
What is it about real estate that you enjoy?
Karen is very clear on her answer! "I like to help people, but I could never be a nurse, I just couldn't handle the trauma! But helping people to find homes, upgrade their homes, and build wealth is my way of helping people. Every day is a memory in the making. It's important for me to make each day special, for my family, as well as my customers! I take great pride in going the extra mile and making today a wonderful and pleasant memory for the future."
What do you like to do?
"Besides helping people? I am a huge photography buff, I love to cook, entertain, spend time with family and friends, and I dabble with scrapbooking and some rubberstamping in my (rare) spare time. You could say if I'm not being creative, I'm not happy!"
I hear you get a little creative with your real estate marketing?
"I enjoy the marketing! Besides helping my business to grow, my marketing sets me apart from other agents. I am one of 2 agents in Clermont who have the featured listings on Realtor.com. This means your home gets more exposure, allowing it to sell faster than other homes in your neighborhood! Also, all listings are on Showcase of Homes on Realtor.com. In addition, I work closely with Homes and Land, I have my own 24-hour hotline, my own personal website at www.KarenArlick.com , a full-time assistant, the Palm Cell Phone/Web Device which is connected to my website, marketing, and hotline, as well as the technology in place to follow up with leads quickly, often while they are still out in front of the home they are calling on! I hear you often take pictures of your customers?
Yes, with permission, of course! It's for one of those extra special things I do for my customers, but I don't want to spoil the surprise. My customers love the result though! {Did I mention I was a photography buff?}
Tell me about your family?
I moved to Central Florida from Syracuse, NY with my mom and dad when I was 15. My family is now spread out, but we still enjoy some really special family times every now and then. I am married to Robert, who is the love of my life, and I am blessed to have a wonderful son, Andrew, who is 14 and just started as a freshman in high school. We have a chihuahua, Tequila, more commonly known as Tiki, who runs the household. He's about 6 lbs, almost all white, and is definitely a huge part of our family. My husband is in Sales and my son is active on the South Lake Rec basketball team. My family is important to me. "

"Yes! My customers are part of my family! You can rest assured that I always go above and beyond for my family! My customers feel well taken care of, well informed, and feel good about dealing with me. I take quite a bit of time to keep up with continuing education, I work quickly to get marketing out and often bring my sellers multiple offers, and I have my customers best interests in mind. Being a full service Realtor® to me means going the extra mile. I go the extra mile because I enjoy what I do. My reward is my customers smile when I'm done, and their sense of relief knowing they are in good hands."
